“During that week he looked like a million bucks. Mr. Craig was wearing a white dress shirt and grey pressed pants. His tie was black. We sat across from each other, I studied him while he watched me. During that time, I realized that we are the same. At the end of those four days we convicted Mr. Craig of murder. What separates us in this life are the choices that we make.”

My experience as a juror for a murder trial in 2008 was life changing and I chose painting as my medium to communicate new life that happens after darkness.
