My series, “Beyond the Signaling Theory: when preys fight back!”, shows wild animals of prey chasing their predators. I am using wild animals to symbolize the human instinct to thrive physically, spiritually, and psychologically. Humans have a natural inclination to trust other humans due to our need to build societies together. Most of us have been taken advantage of at some point in our lives by dishonest people who use our trusting nature against us for their benefit, leaving us injured. Some of us have learned early on to stand up for ourselves and speak our truth to avoid being a victim, while others continue to stay open, vulnerable and trusting, leading to many successes and possibly even greater losses. This series is about the realization of self-worth and the decision to protect oneself in order to reach one’s full potential and, most importantly, survive.
